| Fire Extinguisher Training |

This is a two hour module which equips delegates with an understanding of the dynamics of fire, different classes of fire extinguishers and how to safely employ them. .
Our training equipment is gas-fired and environmentally friendly. We provide ‘real fire’ scenarios for delegates in a safe and managed arena. |

| Basic Fire safety |

The Fire Safety module is designed to provide delegates with basic skills and knowledge on the dynamics and causes of fire, extinguisher identification, housekeeping, fire safety, and individual responsibilities in case of fire.
The module is generally delivered over a period of between two to four hours.This module can also be tailored to meet specific training needs and individual client requirements. |

| Basic Health and Safety skills |

This short course comprises a two hour update session.
Delegates receive an introduction to health and safety legislation which includes responsibilities and duties of employers and employees, the meaning of risk in the workplace and mitigation.
Risk Assessment input is followed by practical hands on assessments. |

| HS(G)220 Residential Care Health and safety guide |
|
This is a half day course specifically designed for Residential Care Homes.
The course outlines the special safety management requirements involved in the safe and sucessful operation of a care home. The health and safety responsibilities of managers and staff are fully explained to delegates together with a comprehensive overview of every section of the latest Health and Safety Guide HS(G) 220.
Delegates take part in a number pf practical risk assessment exercises which provide them with excellent learning outcomes and opportunities to apply their skills and professional judgement in a variety of challenging scenarios. |

| Risk Assessment |

This two hour module is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of the principles of risk assessment. The module consists of a practical application of hazard spotting, understanding risk, likelihood, severity and consequences.
Delegates will also learn how to carry out basic risk assessment and when to call for more support. |
